The Fear-Free movement is a newer movement in the veterinary community to help to decrease the fear, anxiety, and stress that some animals may experience in new environments, like the veterinary clinic.
Positive reinforcement, encouragement, and, at times, medications can be used to make the veterinary visit more enjoyable for your pet and safer for all involved. Fear-free certification requires hours of continuing education and practice, and several of our doctors and staff have taken the time to do so. For more information, you can visit fearfreepets.com
